Hello

I am Alina , a scientist (cancer biologist) and mum of a ​5 year old. Over the last 15 years, I have researched, ​taught and mentored with success.

With high quality ​research publications and students well established in ​their careers, I have now focussed on science outreach ​to children. My vision for STEM Dorado is to enable every child associated with it gain clarity of fundamental scientific concepts, feel inspired and motivated about learning science and excel not just academically, but also in life owing to the life skills we teach.

STEM Dorado delivers free, science - maths ​resources for KS1 , KS2 and KS3 students. We organise science and maths workshops both virtual and face to face, to ​encourage children to explore and develop passion for ​STEM education. We collaborate with talented scientists and other STEM experts to bring a lot of value to children's science awareness and education.

Through the mentoring program, STEM Dorado imparts curriculum aligned science lessons to children in ​years 4-9 with relevant hands on experiments and assignments. This ascertains regular science study and practice at home. The objective is to help build a strong foundation in science ​and other life skills (such as critical thinking, ​perseverance and diligence) that will not only help ​students ace their board exams, but also in life as a whole.
